5 Times You Wore Your Shoes Right

Wearing the right kind of shoes can help you get a more effective workout and prevent micro-injuries that may otherwise go unnoticed for years. 1. Running

When you run, your heel hits the ground first followed by your toes that push the ground to take you forward. This is a repetitive activity and for professional sprinters or marathon runners, this could mean a weakening of the feet. Thus, the ideal running shoes are made in a way to provide certain cushioning and absorb the shock caused by each lunge. 2. Trekking

When you trek, the pressure of your movement falls on your knees. They have low-cut models with flexible rubber soles. Different shoes are suitable depending on the weather conditions. For treks in dry and warm places, low ankle hiking shoes are preferable. 3. Walking

4. Workout and Training

People make the worst mistake of wearing running shoes for weight training. While running shoes have cushioning in the heels, they don’t help with body balance when you’re weightlifting. Go for hard, non-compressible soles that will support your legs and your core when you’re lifting hundreds of pounds. Also look for good fitted shoes that will neither suffocate, nor let your feet move around too much.

5. Football

Football shoes quite similar to running shoes but with a difference. When playing indoors on wooden floor, your shoes should be made with non-marking rubber soles that have a flat sole and its grooves are cut throughout for flexibility and comfort.
